The Board of Directors of the fire department voted in favor in August to looking for land to build. In our September meeting the board was approached by the chief on two possible land locations to build. The board voted in favor of the piece of property at the corner of Dishman Ln. and Pisgah Church Rd. The land was purchased. In the October Meeting The Board of Directors Voted in favor of hiring Nelson Dellinger as the general contractor, and giving the go ahead to proceed with ordering the building. The Building should be here sometime around the second week of December. The Building will be a 70x40 metal constructed building with a brick front. The building will be large enough to house up to 3 pieces of apparatus. This space should be large enough to serve the department needs for many years to come. In the November meeting the Board voted in favor of taking our construction loan out through Piedmont Bank. A sign has been placed on the piece of property to officially state the future home of Trinity Volunteer Fire Department Station 2. The permits are being pulled at this time, and building plans are being drawn up. Ground Breaking should be in the next few weeks. Hopefully the fire department will be able to move in around the first of spring 2007.
